Le’Veon Bell has been absent from Steelers training camp as a holdout, and his Pittsburgh teammates have since started joking about the whole saga.
Antonio Brown hadย spent the past month urging Bell to end his holdout, and after a Snapchat video poked fun at Bell on Tuesday, the Steelers running back issued his own response on Twitter.
He just did so with some painfully awkward freestyle rap. Check it out:
Bell rapped:
“AB. Yeah, I see yaโll, cuz. Big dog, I got pups bigger than Air Bud. Are you aware, Bud, why Iโm not at practice? Im’ma need 17 cuz 26 is savage. They say the franchise should be enough. Pockets of Professor Clump. Let me get back to my day. I canโt keep showing Buddy love.”
Bell made some jokes about his teammates in the rap and clearly referenced the Snapchat video where Brown and Bud Dupree mocked Bell for not being at practice. It also stood out that Bell appeared to be asking for $17 million in his new deal.
Bell’s teammates weren’t too upset about the rap, though.
It was all just lighthearted jokes between teammates. But that rapping — ugh — it needs some work, Le’Veon.
